Walk Down The Famous Stairs

As you start walking down you will see the famous rock stairs where everyone takes the photos. It is very small and may get quite crowded, especially after 11 that is when the ferries arrive full of people

Be aware walking down the stairs is not as easy as it seems, they weren’t finished when we went in April 2019 and the last part you had to climb down holding a rope! Yes, it was a little bit scary as we were carrying a few bags with us!

Tip: Get here before 9.30 am to avoid the crowds

Swings With A View

The first stop on the way down is a new swing they installed a few months ago next to a little cafe. I wanted to try both nests and paid 60k for both of them. The view was amazing and loved the photos we took.

The Beach

After the swing you will need to hike down a little bit more, there’s no path, you will just need to climb down some big rocks.Tip: It is better to come in the morning as the water level may be to high in the evening to see the beach!

Diamond Beach is definitely one of the main things you need to see during your trip in Bali

How To Get Here

We spent two days in the island and book our trip with Nusa Penida Trip. They have different packages you can choose from for an affordable place, totally worth it.

Remember to bring enough water and comfortable shoes, and more important, don’t forget your camera!

Tip: If you are hungry keep walking up, you will find a little local restaurant looking to another beach next to Diamond beach and can have lunch with a lovely view. They even had tempeh!
